DARGAVILLE MAN MISSING

VETERAN OF SOUTH AFRICAN WAR POLICE SEARCH SO FAR IN VAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dargaville, Aug. 14. Mr. Frederick R. Morrison, aged 54, licensee of the Northern Wairoa Hotel and well-known at Whangarei and Auckland, has been missing since 8 o’clock on Saturday night. The police, assisted by large numbers of helpers, have been searching diligently since, but no trace has been found. Mr. Morrison, who is a veteran of the South African War, suffered from malaria and had been in indifferent health for some weeks.
