ROOF HUNT FOR BADGER

Policemen with a ladder, a clothes line and a broomstick took part in an exciting chase at Tottenham recently. A boy found a badger in his room and threw a coat over it, but it bit him on the hand and escaped through the open window on to the roof.

A policeman climbed a ladder and tried to lasso the badger with a clothes line. Eventually another constable brought it to earth with a broomstick and a bystander killed it with a stick. How the badger got into the bedroom is a. mystery.
