BABY LEFT ON FONT

“MISERY OF THE WORLD.” A baby boy, a few weeks old, was found a month ago lying carefully wrapped up on an improved bed tff hassocks, on the steps of the font in St. Cyprian’s (Anglo-Catholic) Church, at Marylebone, London. The child was well clothed and cared for, and pinned to his shawl was a note stating that his mother, who was "a good Catholic,” was dead; and adding, “My father hates me and I am left to the misery of the world.” The baby was .taken to the Marylebone Institution.
