MOTOR-CYCLING COMPETITION
PETROL CONSUMPTION TEST. Under very favourable conditions the North Taranaki Motor-Cycle Club held its petrol economy test during the weekend. Motor-cyclists from Stratford and Eltham competed and some very high averages were returned, some being over 200 miles per gallon. Each competitor was supplied with half a pint of petrol and set oft' in the direction of Waitara, starting at the Waiwakaiho flat. The averages returned were: —
