(From Our Own Correspondent.)

The euchre party held on Monday night was fairly well attended. The 'first pnzes were won by Mrs. H. Gilloohly and Mr. EPoole and the second prizes by Mrs. Whittle and Mr. H. Gilloohly. Mrs. Poole and Mr. Whittle received the consolation prizes. A large number was present at the footballers’ dance on Tuesday, about £l7 being taken at the door. The tables and hall were decorated in black and white, the club’s colours. The Rahotu Croquet Club closed its seaeon the other day. The weather was so showery that not many visitors were present.
