FITZROY SEASIDE PARK

MONTHLY EXECUTIVE MEETING, The monthly executive meeting of .the Fitzroy Seaside Park Society was held on Wednesday, when there were present Mr. H 8. Wagstaff (chairman), Mrs. Chivers, Messrs. W. N. Stephenson, C. Grainger, J. H. Hawkins and Clement White. A letter from the New Plymouth Savings Bank was recevied enclosing a cheque for £l2' 10s as a donation towards the funds of the society. The secretary was instructed to write the Pukekura Park sportsground committee thanking it for the loan of a mower. , The caretaker was instructed to close tne camp ground from motor traffic. The chairman and secretary were empowered to purchase a horse for use at the reserve. The chairman reported that the golt course had been opened for public play last Saturday and that the response had been very satisfactory. Messrs. P. Grey and U. H. Stephenson were granted annual tickets for the current season in appreciation ot their advice and help in connection with the formatian of the links. The goff subcommittee (Messrs. H. S. Wagstaff, W. N. Stephenson and C. White) was empowered to continue: the supervision and control ot the links. It was decided that on Anzac Day play should be permitted only after 1 p.m.
