Mr. Duckef, previously the owner of a sawmill at W-area, and now a resident of Auckland, met with an accident near Uruti last night. When meeting another car the wheels of his car went over the bank and the machine fell into a ditch. The side of the car was consideraDly damaged, the vehicle being salvaged last night, by Grundy’s breakdown outfit. Having an interest m a farm in the district, Mr. A. M. Mac Diarmid, dentist, formerly of New Plymouth, has taken up his residence in Opunake and will be in attendance at his dental surgery, Main Street, Opunake, daily. * The donations of eggs for Plunket Baby Day in New Plymouth included four dozen eggs and one shilling, which came from a previously unknown source. It has since been found that the eggs came from the Mount Messenger School. A man brought his suit to our shop to be renovated and stated that if it was cleaned and pressed satisfactorily six of his mates would also have their s done. We got those six jobs because wa gave service. By our special process we are able to renovate suits, overcoats, costumes, dresses, felt hats, equal to new at the cost of a few shillings.
