Much interest is being taken in the coming Y.W.C.A. bazaar by friends in the town. The proceeds arc going partly to New Plymouth’s share in the support of the association’s missionary in China, Miss Nessie Jloncrieff, who is in charge of a large students’ hostel in Peiping, and partly to the general fund for paying the debt on the hall. It is an opportunity for residents in the town to serve their community without too great a strain on their pockets, for there will be useful and necessary articles to purchase as well as many dainty gifts.
