Visiting Canada with the hope of gaining a better understanding of the Dominion’s position, aspirations and policy, and at the same time assuring Canadian industrialists of Britain s desiie to co-operate in making Canada and the Empire prosperous, the trade mission scut from Great Britain by the Federation of British Industries arrived over the week-end, headed by Sir James Lithgow, to tour the Dominion. \The visitors said the federation believed the Empire could exercise a deciding influence towards sound world development. Such a consummation was possible only provided all parts of the Empire worked together.
