AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
MEETING IN NEW PLYMOUTH. The monthly meeting of the Taranaki Metropolitan Agricultural Society was held in New Plymouth yesterday. There were present Messrs 0. Sampson, J. H. Allen, A. T. Moore, A. R. Gudopp, J. M. Smith, G. Tate, P. Smellie, H. Trimble, T. Telford, F. Dodunski, H. H. Olson, J. T. Goodrick, W. Joll, P.- J. Petersen, J. Brown, A. J. Luxton, W. B. Grant, A. P. Lister, A. Turnbull. The stewards selection committee was appointed as follows: —Messrs H. C. Sampson, C. W. Reube, T. Smellie, W. B. Grant, T. Wilson, J. H. Allen, A. R. Gudopp, R. H.> Pigott, A. P. Lister and H. H. Olson. Messrs C. ‘W. Leach and Wooffenden were elected members. It was reported that Mrs. Bremer had agreed to the F. A. Bremer Memorial Challenge Cup being awarded to the pedigree Ayrshire section. I ===============
