“THE REALM OF MAKE-BELIEVE.”

A recital by the pupils of Miss Maisie Instone will be given in St, ‘ Joseph s Hall, Hawera, to-morrow evening. The items will be of a high standard, and will include dances by pupils of Miss Mary Thompson and orchestral uumbers arranged by Mr. H. C. A. Fox. An amusing sketch, “Househunting,” will be enacted by the adult pupils. Joyce Knightbridge will sing a character song and take part in a dialogue with Joyee Goodwin/who also appears in a humorous duet with Sylvia Davy. Little Graham Bayley will give a quaint new monologue, while Doris Gilmore will sing “The Blackbird in My Garden.” The sweet natural voices of two little girls, Jean Veitch ,and Cynthea Graham, will be heard to advantage. The juvenile class will stage a farce, 'the programme concluding with a humorous playlet, “Just in Time.”
