DUTY ON CANADIAN CARS
INTER-DOMINION PREFERENCES. FORD EXECUTIVE CONFIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. Montreal, Sept. 22. He was very confident something would be done by New Zealand in regard to preference, on Canadian automobiles iii return for similar preference by Canada on' New Zealand products, said Mr. Wallace Campbell, president of the Ford Motor Company in Canada, on his arrival at Windsor to-day. Mr. Campbell had just returned from Ottawa, where he had been in conference with Mr, G. W. Forbes, Prime Minister of New Zealand, Mr. R. B. Bennett, Prime Minister of Canada, and Mr. Ryckman, Canadian Minister of National Revenue.
