NEW PLYMOUTH LADIES’ GOLF
REDUCTION OF FIVE HANDICAPS. GOOD SCORING IN L.G.U. MATCH. Five New Plymouth lady golfers reduced their handicaps in the L.G.U. match played in perfect weather on the Waiwakaiho links yesterday. Scoring generally, especially among the juniors, was good. Miss Smart won the senior division and Miss Christoffel the junior. Miss Christoffel reduced her handicap by seven strokes to 25, Mrs. Mander by three strokes to 10, Miss Smart by one stroke to 16, Miss Blundell by one to 12 and Miss Webb by one to 19.
