WIDOW’S CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
CASE AGAINST SAMOAN MERCHANT By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Further inspection of the house and cross examination of tho defendant occupied the best part of tho third day of the hearing of tho case in which Mrs, Josephine Wilson Smith proceeded against Mr. 0. F. Nelson, mcreiliant, formerly of Samoa, for £2OO, representing damage which was alleged to have been caused to plaintiff’s house and contents during Nelson’s tenancy extending from December, 1928, to March 14, 1929. Defendant further referred to tho condition of tho house. When ho rented it the furniture was of a very cheap class. After further evidence tho case was adjourned
