BRITISH RUGBY TEAM
PLAYING UNIFORM CHOSEN. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A dark blue jersey with three gold lions on breast and white shorts will be the uniform worn by the British Rugby team that is due to arrive in Wellington on May 14. As the team includes players from all tho States that comprise Great Britain it is possible that this colour has been chosen in preference to that of any of the individual countries of England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland.
At the same time the point arises that there will be some difficulty in distinguishing players in matches with the New Zealand team whoso* uniform is an all black jersey ornamented with a silver fern. Even more so will difficulty arise in the Otago match tor the Otago colours are also dark blue. It is understood that this was point-, ed out to tho visitors but dark blue was still chosen.
