"BUY NEW ZEALAND GOODS.” A WIDE INTERPRETATION INTENDED The late Governor-General’s remarks regarding buying New Zealand goods admit of a wide interpretation. , This message, "Buy New Zealand goods” ■is capable > of fair and just localisation. How can any local community buy local products and support local industries without it reflecting to their own advantage? ; This winter Taranaki has a great opportunity to give a generous interpretation to the farewell message of one of the best Governor-Generals the Dominion has up to now possessed. The province has the opportunity of buying coal produced within its own provincial boundaries! Egmbnt coal is justly claimed superior in quality to many New Zealand coals.
