SEVERAL DEATHS IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. . Sydney, Dec. 26. Tragedy marred the Christmas festivities in some homes this year. Six people were killed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in traffic accidents and tw • deaths resulted from drow-ning. Hot, sultry weather was experienced throughout the Btate. yesterday; the mercury was over POO degrees in many places in the west, where dust storms were frequent. In Melbourne the temperature was 97 degrees, while Adelaide registered 102 degrees.
