ST. AUBYN SALE OF WORK
LADIES’ GUILD’S SPLENDID EFFORT
Attractively decorated and wellstocked stalls enticed a large number of patrons to the social afternoon held by the Ladies’ Guild of the St. Aubyn Methodist Church yesterday.’ The Rev. G. S.’Cook opened the function, and remarked that it was solely due to the efforts of the Ladies’ Guild, with Mrs/ Adamson as president and Mr. Charters as secretary, that they were being able to pay off the debt on the new hall. It was obvious that the Ladies’ Guild and their friends were making a big endeavour to make the function a success, and he was sure the effort would enable an appreciable amount to be paid off the debt.
