GENERAL AND PERSONAL ITEMS. The annual sale of work organised by Ladies’ Guild of the Presbyterian Church at Inglewood will be held in the Presbyterian Social Hall on October 24. Mr. James Roberts has disposed of his business and intends leaving Inglewood. He will probably reside in Christchurch. Mr. Roberts has been chairman of the Inglewood school committee for some years and took great interest in the erection of the proposed new school.. He was a keen worker in the Presbyterian cause. Mr. P. Pope, of the Inglewood staff of Newton King, Ltd., has accepted a position with the Dominion Motors, Ltd., Wellington. Mr. Pope will be greatly missed in swimming circles, he having been Bteeretary.
