DEATH RESULTS FROM FALL
WELL-KNOWN AUCKLAND FARMER

" Auckland, Last Night. Thomas Jordan, aged 53, a farmer of Waitakere, died in the Auckland hospital yesterday as the result of injuries received a month ago in searching for cattle in the bush on his farm.
Jordan climbed on to a high tree root to obtain a view. He slipped and fell, and sustained internal injuries. He managed to reach his home some distance away and me’leal attention was tailed. His condition became more serious and after a fortnight he was taken k to th© Auckland hospital. Jordan, who wae an esteemed resident fef the district and a member of the Orange Lodge, is survived by his wife.
