MEREMERE-OHANGAI SPORTS.

The second annual sports meeting of the Meremere-Ohangai Sports Club will be held on Wednesday next on the property of Mr. J. Anderson, Ohangai. The programme provides for good field and horse events, also sawing and chopping. The prizes are good. A football match Will also be staged, when Ohangai will meet City in the final of the first round jn the Wednesday fixtures. The Ohangai seven-a-side team were the runners-up at the Mokoia tournapient. A special points prize donated by Mr. Cann, of Haw era, will be given lor competitors scoring most points in the four open events the 100. 150. 440 and 880 yards respectively, and these should he keenly contested.
