AM EXTRAORDINARY WILL
FUNDS TO IMPROVE HUMAN TYPES By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Oct. 18. Much interest was evidenced at the auction sale of the Bringenbong estate in the Albury district, comprising 23,282 acres, owing to the remarkable will of its late owner, Peter S. Mitchell. The will provides that the whole proceeds of the estate, after making provision for the widow, shall be applied to the inauguration of competitions among women to establish the best types of both sexes. The competitions are of a most elaborate character and when entered upon are bound to attract world-wide interest on account of fheir originality. The sale of the estate will provide ample funds for the trustees to carry out the provisions. Bidding ceased at £144,000, at which the property was withdrawn.
