The Tulanekai which returned to Onehunga on Saturday, found no trace of the launch 1 Speedwell which left Auckland for Waitangi, Bay of Islands, on September The sole occupant of lhe launch was Edwin Walker, a retired farmer. The captain of the Tutanekai thinks fhe launch foundered off the coast between Whangarei and Cape Brett.
