GERMAN “BLACK ARMY.” HARROWING TALES OF TORTURE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 3, 10.10 p.m. Berlin, Nov. 2. The sensational trial of eleven members of the so-called “Black Army” at Landsberg, is drawing to a close. The charges range from murder to perjury. Harrowing stories have been told in evidence of the torture, floggings and death suffered by those suspected of being enemies of this illegal, patriotic, military organisation. The Public Prosecutor to-day demanded that the death sentence be imposed on two of those accused and penal service on the others.
