Excitement was caused during th® petw fqrmanoe of the “Gay Parisienme” t<> night by an amateur dramatic- company* Lily Darby, one of the chorus girl®, oamf in contact with a burning gas jet, whiell set fire to her dress. She was painfully burned about the neck and shoulders and was conveyed to a private hospital. Th® progress of the play was not interfered with.
