NORTH ISLAND MEETING. FIRST DAY'S RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Assorts’ion. Wanganui, Last Night. The North Island championship rifle meeting opened at the Putiki range today in beautiful weather. There were 120 competitors, ranging from Marlborough to Auckland. The following are to-day’s scores: WANGANUI MATCH. Seven shots and one optional sighter at both 300 and 500 yards. A Grade. £s—Rflmn.
