STEAMER STRIKES ROCK.
ALL PASSENGERS SAFE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, July 8. The Channel steamship Caesarea, carrying 400 passengers for Southampton, struck a rock in a fog after leaving Jersey. The captain endeavoured to return to -Jersey harbour, but had to beach the vessel outside St. Heller’s pier». The passengers were landed.
