CUSTOMS REVENUE.
NEW PLYMOUTH INCREASE. The Customu revenue collected at New Plymouth during April shows a marked increase over the returns for the corresponding month last year, which is due to the expansion of direct shipping. The dues totalled £8466 12j Bd, compared with £5146 3s 8d in April last year. The beer duty last month produced £176 4s 7d, compared with £2lO 13s Id.
