, NOMINATIONS OF MEMBERS. j* THE TARANAKI COUNTY. J ——— • Nominations for members of the County Councils of Taranaki, Clifton, Stratford and Hawera closed yesterday. The elections take place on May 0. AU. the member* of the retiring council for the Taranaki County, with the , exception of Mr. J. B. Andrews, who ie not seeking re-election, have been nominated for a further term of office. An ’ election will be required in only one riding, Mangorei, the nominees fpr the ■ other ridings being returned unopposed. For Mangorei, Mr. A. Morton, a member of the retiring council, will be opposed i by Messrs. A.C. Binnie and C- W. Watt. Mr. W.
