An influenza epidemic is raging, and though the disease is taking a milder form. 320 cates are reported, 106 of which are of pneumonia. There have been seven influenza deaths and forty from pneumonia. The Health Commissioner (Dr. Copeland) has attributed the outbreak to the lack of coal, resulting in iinheated homes, which is aggravating the situation.
