LOVE OF A GERMAN.
REJECTED BY BRITISH WOMAN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 24, 11.30 p.m. Paris, Nov. 23. At an inquest on the German Buchenbaeher, who committed suicide, Miss Ingall gave evidence that she was employed as a typist by Buchenbacher. She added: “He was in love with me, but I am a British woman. My brother was killed by Germans during the war, and never, no never, would I give myself to a German.” Miss Ingall added that there was a dramatic meeting between herself and a French woman with whom the German was intimate, which resulted in Buchenbacher’s suicide. “I never gave him the slightest encouragement,” she said.
