GENERAL ORDER FOR “CUT.” By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. In connection with the pronouncement of the Arbitration Court reducing the wages bonus, the Court has issued a genera] order enforcing the pronouncement. The Court has also made an order amending and excluding from the operation of the general order the various freezing workers and related trades employees’ award throughout the Dominion. On the occasion of the last order in July last the Court was asked that any percentage reduction should be multiples of two and a half per cent in order to facilitate calculation of the amounts due to workers. On the present occasion the Court has made a reduction of 2J per cent., which is less than the 3s a week provided for in the general order affecting other awards and industrial agreements.
