MR. ASQUITH SUGGESTS SOLUTION.

Asquith, spealting at Tunbridge Wells, stated that the Government’s expenditure on unemployment tn its profligacy and wantonness was unparalleled in the history of this or any other country. Dealing with unemployment, he sajd the first solution was that the Allies should wipe out their indebtedness to each other. The second solution was to revise the whole scheme of indemnities and reparations. —Aus.N.Z Cable Assn.
