A MEXICAN FIAS&O. By Telegraph.—lfesn Assn.—Copyright. Mexico City, Sept/ 27. It is believed that efforts of the I.W.W. to engage Mexican Labor in a general strike fixed for October 1 failed. Demonstrations were held throughout Mexico on Sunday, but the proceedings were orderly and only resulted in resolutions relating to the cost of living. I.W.W. delegates had announced previously that the meetings had been called to arrange for Mexican participation in a general strike,' planned to. take place throughout the American Continent, and afterwards to spread over the whole world.—Aus.-N.Z.
