General Sir William Birdwood leaves on October 7 for Belgium and France to inspect memorials at Polygon Wood and Sailly and to inquire into the management of military cemeteries, exhumations, and reburials in Belgium, of which there is an average of seventy Weekly, and there are Approximately a similar number in France.
