GENERAL GODLEY'S NEW POST, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received Sept. 27, 12.45 a.m. London, Sept. 25. The following appointments are announced: —' The Earl of Cavan succeeds Lord Rawlinson as Commander-in-Chief at Aldershot. Major-General Sir Charles Barington becomes Commander-in-Chief of the Army in the Black Sea region. Lieut.-General Sir Phillip Clietwode becomes deputy chief of the Imperial Staff. Lieut.-General Sir Alexander Godley succeeds General Chetwode as Military Secretary to the Secretary of State for War.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
