TRAIN PARTS.
ENGINE CREW KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received Sept. 27, 12.45 a.m. Sydney, Sept. 26. A remarkable railway tragedy is reported. A goods train was travelling from Goulburn when the engine suddenly parted from the tender, and the driver (Herman) and the fireman (Taylor) were thrown violently to the ground, both being killed.
The engine, without a crew, travelled to the next station, where it pulled up. Trucks forming the train luckily stopped a few yards from the scene of the acci-dent.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
