OLD BOYS,' CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Old Boys' Club, New Plymouth, was held yesterday, Mr. Aust?n Bewley presiding. THE PAST SEASON. The chairman said the Club iad had a very successful season as far as matches were concerned, finishing in second place in the competition. They were able to rita only one team, wif from present Indications another team might be formed this year. The matter depended on the Association, and personally, he would like to see a senior and junior team. At present there was not a juuior team, and- Jit was hard to fill vacancies in tho seniors. The speaker congratulated the members of the team on. the success achieved, and particularly on the fielding. He emphasised the importance of this department of cricketing. The statement of receipts and expenditure showed that the revenue received totalled £l7 7b 6d, and the payments £l7 5s 6d. The chairman said the Club had al3o some material on hand. He hoped that, in view of a poss*biltly of an increase in membership that they would be able to carry on without increasing the subscription. The'-question of grounds, the chairman said, would have to bp considered by tho Association. He believed that an effort should be made for tho Old Boys and New Plymouth Club to secure the use of the Park ground on account of its handy situation, wfclcb was especially desirable for practices. ELECTION OF OFFfctjRS.

The following officers were elected: President, Dr. Fookes (re-elected); vice-presl-denfs, Messrs. R. H. George, E. P. Webster, and W. H. Moyes and Rev. S. Osborne; hon. treasurer, Mr.v H. Johnston; secretary, Mr. R. M. Monte&tn; committee, Messrs. A. Bewley, A. Osborne, E. Colson; R. H. Quilllam, and C. G Bottrtll; delegate* to Association, Messrs. Osbcrne Monteath, and L, Walker

GENERAL. The matter of fixing the subscription was deferred. The question of arranging an opontoig match with the school was delegated to the com'* mittee. A vote of thanks was accorded the Headmaster (Mr. Moyes) and the High School Cricket Club for the assistance given the Club.
