FIGHTING IN MESOPOTAMIA.

A Wnr Office Mesopotamia communique stales . that the garrison at Kufa lias been beleaguered for some weeks. It is inferred that they have sufficient supplies of Necessaries and ammunition, as aeroplanes discovered a request painted on a roof asking only for tobacco and cigarettes. The truculent Sheik Dhari was located twenty-five miles north-west of Bagdad with a strong following and thousands of camels. Thev .were attacked and scattered by aeroplanes, considerable casualties resulting,-—Reutcr Service.
