NEW SOUTH WALES BILL. ■ By Teleeraph.—Press Asan —CopjTlshl. Received Sept. 21, 9.45 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 21. The Anti-Profiteeriug Bill provides, inter alia, for the restriction of undue profits, the collection of information regarding the' operations of trusts, the prevention of unfair methods of competition, the promotion of co-operative enterprise, the amendment of the Arbitration Acts, the control and acquisition of necessary commodities, and the control of necessary services. Penalties for breaches of the Act have fixed fines from £IOO to £IOOO and imprisonment for five years. The Supreme Court 1b empowered to wind up corporations guilty of a breach of the Act The Bill also provides for the limitation of the export of necessary commodities when there are not sufficient supplies for home consumption, and taxation of excess profits—Aus.-N.Z.
