GOLF.
VISIT OF J. H. KIRKWOOD. J- H. Kirkwood, the golf champion of Australasia, arrived at Patea yesterday. He plays an exhibition round on the Patea links today, commencing at 1.30 p.m. Kirkwood will play on the New Plymouth Club's links all day to-iniorrow in matches asainst local players. The first round will commence at 10 a.m., and the second match u' 2 p.m.
