BOXING.
TARAWAKI BOXING ASSOCIATION, A meeting of the committee of the Taranak! Boring Association was held last night, Mr. E. Jackson presiding in the absence of the chairman. Arrangements were put in hand for the .tournament which it is proposed to hold shortly, and at which the Taranaki provincial amateur cfcampfonships will be decided, and a professional contest will also be staged. It was also decided to take steps to at once arrange for a gmynasium for active members of the Association, a committee being set up for the purpose.
