The Government, Statistician reports that a census tiiYen on November 30 showed that the following: stocks of flour, wheat, and oats were held by miller!, merchants, and farmers throughout New Zealand:—Flour, 10,097 ton a (compared with 7:027 tons a year ago); millin" wheat, 1,207,077 bushels (428,038 bushels); wheat other than milling, 105,890 bushels (35,009 bushels); oat? in grain, 017,832 bushels (1,103,455 bushels). There is also estimated to be 15,420 tons of oats in stack for chaffing, compared with' 14,173 tons a year ago.
