TO- BE TAKEN OS APRIL 10. By Tclegr*pk—Prsa» Association. Wellington, Dec. 20. An Extraordinary Gazette fbcea April 10 for the date of the licensing referendum. Regulations are published for taking the votes of soldiers in camps or hospitals, etc., also those out of New Zealand. For those in England and Europe special polling places will be provided, and the iHgh Commissioner will cable the result to New Zealand. An official in Egypt, to he appointed by the High Commissioner, will conduct the poll for all men in the East and cabia tho result. Arrangements will also be made for men in Samoa and those who may be on 'uoard ship. In these two cases the 'ballot boxes will, be scaled ana tho votes counted on arrival ie New Zealand.
