BOMBARDMENT OF VENICE. DAMAGE TO WORKS OF ART. London, Oct. 20. A French wireless states that the Austrian continue bombarding Venice with aeroplanes. They wreak vengeance upon works of art whose glory belongs to the world. THE POPE PROTESTS. Rome, Oct. 20. The Pope has asked for details. He intends to protest against the wanton destruction of churches.
