A WOMAN'S DEATH. jrfy Telegraph—Press Association. Taihajpe, March i 4. An inquest was held yesterday on the body of Isabella McColl, wife of Alexander McColl, settler of Katieke, who was found drowned afc 9.30 yesterday morning in a lagoon near the bouse t§ her father-in-law, Moawhango road. She had a baby clasped in her arms, •which was also drowned. Evidence showed that since her confinement in March, Mrs. McColl had been in a depressed state. A verdict was returned of suicide during temporary insanity. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE.

Napier, Last Night. An old resident of Hastings named Frank 'Roper, over eighty years of age, •was found dead in his house in Southland road. At the inquest to-day dict of death from heart failure was returned. MAN'S BODY FOUND. lnvercargill, Last 'Night. Two fishermen reported to the police the discovery of a man's body, cast upon the 'beach at the mouth of the New River Estuary, The body has not yet 'been identified, but it is supposed to be that of Robertson, who has been missing from the Bluff for some time. FATALLY RUN OVER. Timaru, Last Night. Walter Harris, twenty-one years of age, employed at a threshing mill at Woodbury, was run over 'by a truck while shifting, and killed instantly. He was seen by a man at a little distance running beside the truck and to fall, and when the observer came up he was dead.
