WEDDING BELLS.
There was quite a flatter of excite-' meat in social circles on Monday afternoon when Misj Beatrice Drew of New Plymouth was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Percy Hoby of Inglewood, The c rem.my was conducted by Rev. W. Drew (father of tha bride) aes'sted by Rev. W. R. Woolley, in the Baptist Church which was very tastefully decorated for the occasion. The popularity of the htppy couple was evidenced by the o vet flowing audienee of well-wishers present, and by the numerous and handsome presents of which they were the recipients. The bride was charmingly arrayed in crema poplin, with tuiile veil, orange blossom o , and shower bouquai, and for bridesmaids was attended by Mitsa Drew, M.A. (sister of th* biide) and Miss Grac* Hoby ef Wellington, who wfre both tastefully drsssed in grey, with black velvet hats and carried shower bouquets. In the J afternoon Mr and Mrs Drew (pawn's 'of the bride) held a largely attended reception at the Wbit,-loy Hail which was also decorated for the occasion. The happy couple l«*fo by afternoon j train for their bridal tour followed by | the good wishes of a very large circle I (,f friends.
