ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

[PBS PBHBS ASSOCIATION.] Ohristohuech, November 5. i A shocking accident occurred at the Exhibition this afternoon, when a boy named Andrew Burns,. 16 years of age, | who was engaged in looking after the Mitchell Scroll Flour Mill, hid one of bis arms wrenched off. The boy was attempting to run a band over the shaft wheel when the maohinoiy was in motion, and lp&arpi'was caught by the belting and twisted round the shaft until it was completely wrenched ofl. Ho was* taken lo the hospital, where he is doing as well as can be expected, Dunedih, November 5. :

The inquest touphing the death of the Ohinaman on the runaway Roslyn tram was continued, but aftor hearing evidence was adjourned for a ; week. To-day's evidence went in the direction of showing that the 1 ropa could be picked up at the place whero the car started; that .the Uljipaman jumped oil the oar and wasnot thrown off.
