On reaching the Drill .Shod, Captain Taunton said the men who intended going to Stratford were to take their haversacks, water-bottles, side-arms, and rifles. He expressed the hope that there would be a good muster, as he believed it would be a record march for a volunteer corps. It is understood .that the corps will train aa far as Stratford, arriving there it 8.40 a.m. After a short interval a start will be made, and it is expected that Inglewood will be reached in time for dinner and Bell Block for tea, the corps coming wi into town in the evening. '

The team from, tjje Taranaki Rifles which is taking part in the Wellington celebrations will give a public exhibition in the Drill Hall this evening. • The teams from the Taranaki Rifles and Taranaki Guards will leave for Wellington by the mail .train on Thursday morning.
