London, Dec. 15. The British troops have now withdrawn' southward to a line from Beirut in the north to the Gulf of Alexandretta, with a sphere extending towards the Euphrates, while the hintex*land, including Damascus and' Aleppo, comes under Arab rule under the Emir Feisul. . ■
